With a complete lack of activity, except from 2 of 3 posts being hostile, I am closing this site as bl4ck.org, and moving it to go be eve-stuff.net.

The forums will move be deleted, and a new one for the eve-stuff site created.  A lot of the articles will also get placed there as well.

I encourage you all to join that site, and help it grow, as I am bringing into it too eve-gfx.com and depending upon what happens maybe one other major eve related site.  

Ex BL4CK members will be eligible for discounts on any eve related hosting you might want, so get in touch if you want a personal killboard, or you want web hosting etc...

It is with a sad and heavy heart that I announce that the EVE Online entity known as The Black Scope Project is closing it's doors (at least for now).  Due to differing desires to achieve different goals within the game, the collective members of the alliance have decided to part ways, and move along.  However we are still remaining friends, and still continuing to keep in touch on a daily basis.  This has not gone down well with everyone, but nobody was willing to take the reigns of the alliance and try a new direction as a whole, so we insteadhave decided to all try our own things. 

To let those interested know what's going on:

• The members that were part of Federal Enforcement of the Abyssal Realm are headed back to their corp, with a few other pilots in the US time zone to do their thing. 
• Greater Expectations are going to quietly keep their industrial work going, and slowly get to their objective.
• New Fnord are going back to their industrial operations.
• BlackScope (the corp) is doing a few things:
  • Interslice Pilots are moving for the most part intoa new corporation to do some development and more with managing the corp
  • Some have gone off to join FE.AR
  • Some have moved over to Zero People Skills
  • Some have moved off to New FNORD Industries
  • Others have been dropped by the waside.

One of the founding principles of BL4CK, was that the ingame mechanic of the alliance, but to nearly all of us, our idea of an alliance is that of the people, and though we are doing different things in the game, we are contibuing to be friends.  A shining example of this is one member actually putting $75USD into keeping our Ventrilo server going, so we can stick together.  This shows the attitude of mateship that we as an alliance, as a group of friends, even through differences are able to demonstrate.

No matter what happens, the alliance of friendship formed will continue, and grow, and may indeed reform in another form in the future, but for now, from Windryder and myself.  We want to pass on our best wishes for all, and wish all good luck and fun flying, and see you in Ventrilo soon.

Thanks to all those that donated money for the ventrilo server/site.  It now means the ventrilo will stay up, at least the next 2 months are now paid for.  Some rough calculations end up that if everyone donated $5 once every 3 months, we could run it indefinitely.

I need to let everyone know, that due to my old employer being all sorts of names I can't type here, I will be unable to maintain the Ventrilo server once this payment cycle ends for probably a month.  This will mean that it will shut down at least for a month.  The ONLY way this is going to change, is if members, and anyone using it, donate CASH using the paypal icon near the times on the top right of this page.

I have prepaid the webserver, so it will remain, and I have prepaid Alvar's account, but all the other accounts I am running will be shut down as well while I try to survive.  

Alternate voice comms fall back to ingame in the new chat channel.  With the demise of our coalition with FLUID, the BL4CK-FLUID channel will close today, and the new BL4CK-FRIENDS will open.  It's secure, and will be the voice channel we use as a group, with the BL4CK-INTEL channel used for PVP.  Please configure your eve client to use eve-voice.  These changes will start effective immediatly.
